How do I know if my toothpaste contains fluoride?
All you need to do is check the label of the toothpaste and see if fluoride is an ingredient.
Is fluoride harmful for children?
The only time fluoride is harmful for children is when they have too much fluoride. This is called dental fluorosis. This involves discoloration in the teeth or mottling of the enamel. To avoid this issue, just monitor the amount of fluoride your child receives.
